Uncle John'S Graduation Pesto Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. basil leaves (no stems)
    4 cloves garlic, minced
    1/2 c. to 1 c. pine nuts
    1 c. olive oil
    1 c. Parmesan cheese, fresh grated
    1/4 c. Romano cheese, fresh grated
    salt and pepper (optional)
    4 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 pkg. dried red tomatoes
Preparation
    Pesto:
    Puree the basil leaves, garlic, pine nuts and olive oil.
    Then add Parmesan cheese, Romano cheese and salt and pepper. Whirl until blended.
