Chicken Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 5 lb. whole chicken
    2 carrots, sliced
    1 lb. mixed vegetables
    salt and pepper to season
    4 to 5 potatoes, diced
    1 onion
    2 cans cream of chicken soup
    3 to 4 c. chicken stock
Preparation
    Boil chicken in pot on stove until cooked.
    Reserve 3 to 4 cups stock.
    Debone and store chicken in refrigerator.
    Put potatoes in crock-pot, top with carrots, onions, mixed vegetables, seasonings and top with soup.
    After 2 hours, add 3 to 4 cups chicken stock. Mix. Let cook until potatoes and carrots are tender, approximately 8 hours.
    About 1 hour before serving, add cut up chicken.
    Yields about 4 cups.
