Potato-Bacon-Corn Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces
    2 c. cubed potatoes
    1 c. chopped onions
    1 c. water
    salt and pepper to taste
    thyme to taste
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 can whole kernel corn, drained
    1 c. milk
    1 c. sour cream
Preparation
    In 3-quart saucepan, cook bacon until brown.
    Add onions and cook until tender.
    Add potatoes, water and seasoning.
    Continue cooking 15 to 20 minutes until potatoes are tender.
    Reduce heat to low and add remaining ingredients.
    Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until heated through.
