Ingredients

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2/3 c. sugar
3 eggs
2 1/3 c. flour
1/3 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. oil
1 c. crushed fresh or 10 oz. frozen strawberries
Preparation

Blend cream cheese, 1/2 cup white sugar and 1 egg.
In a large bowl, combine flour, remaining sugar, brown sugar, soda, salt, cinnamon and nuts.
Mix eggs and berries and add to dry mix of ingredients just until moistened.
Spread 1 cup batter in greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
Top with cream cheese mixture, then cover with remaining batter.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for one hour or until toothpick comes out clean.
Cool ten minutes and then remove from pan.
