Mountain Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    2/3 c. milk
    1 stick oleo, melted
    1 can sweetened pie filling (cherry)
Preparation
    Mix sugar, flour, baking powder, milk and melted oleo together.
    Pour into 9 x 9-inch pan.
    Cover with pie filling (cherry is best).
    Bake 40 to 45 minutes at 375\u00b0 or until golden brown.
    Serve warm.
    Can be topped with ice cream.
