Apple Torte - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. chopped, peeled apples (can be less)
3/4 c. salad oil
1 1/2 c. sugar or 3/4 c. sugar and 3/4 c. brown sugar
3 eggs
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 Tbsp. cinnamon
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. raisins or dates
1 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Combine
flour,
baking soda, salt and cinnamon and set aside. Beat
eggs.
Add
sugar, oil and extract and mix well. Add the flour mixture and stir in the nuts and raisins.
Spoon batter into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until done (50 minutes
to
1 hour;
insert a toothpick in center and it comes out clean).
