Harvest Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 c. chopped apples, peeled
2 c. white sugar
3 c. flour
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 c. salad oil
1 c. nut meats
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon

Preparation

Mix apples and sugar; let set 1 hour.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Beat well into apple and sugar mixture.
Bake in large tube pan or 3 small loaf pans about 1 hour at 325\u00b0.
Can be frozen and kept for quite awhile.
