Magic Chocolate Swirl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    2 3/4 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 c. chocolate syrup
Preparation
    Cream together shortening and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, 1 teaspoon soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk. Take out 2 cups of batter and pour the rest in a greased and floured Bundt pan. Add 1/4 teaspoon soda and chocolate syrup to the 2 cups of batter. Beat. Pour in pan over the other batter. Bake at 350\u00b0 for approximately 1 hour.
