Upper Peninsula Pasties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 3/4 c. milk
    2 c. ground up suet or lard
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients.
    Cut in suet or lard.
    Add milk.
    Knead dough.
    Divide into 12 balls.
    Roll each into a 6-inch circle.
