Grandma'S Oatmeal Hot Cakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. buttermilk
2 c. regular oats
1/8 c. sugar
1/4 c. melted shortening
3 beaten eggs
1/2 c. sifted flour (scant)
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. canned Shoepeg vacuum packed whole kernel white corn (Green Giant)
Preparation

Mix together the night before in a large bowl and let stand covered in refrigerator:
buttermilk and oats.
In the morning, stir in sugar, melted shortening and eggs.
Sift remaining ingredients, except corn, together and stir in just enough to mix (do not try to remove all the lumps).
Add the corn last.
