Icebox Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. mashed potatoes
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    5 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Place milk, sugar, potatoes, butter and salt in a large saucepan.
    Heat slowly to boiling point.
    Let stand until lukewarm. Add yeast, dissolved in a little of this lukewarm mixture, then add to first mixture.
    Mix soda and baking powder with flour.
    Stir in to make a stiff dough.
    Let rise 15 minutes.
    Knead to a stiff dough, adding more flour, if necessary.
