Ozark Hoecake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. corn meal
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 Tbsp. melted fat
Preparation
    Combine corn meal, salt and baking powder.
    Add fat and stir in water to make soft dough.
    Make small cakes 1/2-inch thick. Bake.
    Brown on both sides on hot greased griddle.
