Chicken Pot Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 Tbsp. chopped onion
    6 Tbsp. oleo or butter
    6 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 c. milk
    1 1/2 c. water or broth
    3 c. cubed, cooked chicken or turkey
    1 1/2 c. cooked, frozen vegetables, drained
    1 Tbsp. parsley
Preparation
    Cook onion in butter until tender, but not brown.
    Blend in flour, salt and pepper.
    Add milk and broth.
    Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.
    Stir in chicken, vegetables and parsley. Heat until bubbly.
    Pour into oblong casserole or 6 or 8 individual casseroles.
    Top with canned biscuits, cut into fourths (better with a recipe of real biscuits, cut in tiny rounds). Serves 6 or 8 generously.
