Purple Plum Crunch - cooking recipe

1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg, well beaten
1/4 c. brown sugar
3 Tbsp. flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. margarine
24 Italian purple plums, pitted and quartered
Preparation

Mix flour, baking powder, sugar and egg.
Put plums in bottom of ungreased 2-quart baking dish and crumble flour mixture on top. Mix brown sugar, 3 tablespoons flour and cinnamon and sprinkle all over.
Melt margarine and pour over all.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
You may also use larger red plums, bing cherries, peaches or apples in place of plums.
