Red Beans And Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 (16 oz.) cans Bush's Best red beans or kidney beans
1/4 c. onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 bay leaf
2 strips bacon, cut in 1-inch strips
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce
pinch of thyme
1 (1 lb.) pkg. Smoky Hollow smoked sausage, sliced
6 c. cooked rice
Preparation

Place all ingredients except sausage and rice in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer, cover and cook for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
Add sausage to red beans the last 30 minutes of cooking time. Serve over rice.
