Chili Con Carne - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. bacon drippings or butter
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 lb. ground beef
1 can condensed tomato soup
1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans, drained
2 Tbsp. chili powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 clove garlic (optional)
Preparation

Saute chopped onion in bacon drippings or butter.
Then add ground beef and saute until well done.
Add tomato soup, kidney beans, chili powder and salt.
Cover and cook slowly for 1 hour. Serves 8.
