Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. stew meat or steak, cubed
    2 medium potatoes, diced
    3 large carrots, diced
    2 pkg. frozen onions
    6 stalks celery, diced
    1 can whole kernel corn
    1 can lima beans
    1 can sweet peas
    1 can cut green beans
    2 cans diced tomatoes
    1/2 c. barley or rice
    1 c. noodles
    1 Tbsp. marjoram
    1 Tbsp. sage
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
Preparation
    Cut up and cook meat with 3 quarts of water and salt for 1 hour.
    Add onions, potatoes, carrots, and celery and cook 20 minutes.
    Add all other ingredients and simmer 1 hour.
    Makes 7 quarts.
