1 stick margarine
1 c. Crisco
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 pkg. coconut
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sugar
5 egg yolks
5 egg whites
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Cream together margarine, shortening and sugar.
Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating well.
Combine flour, soda and salt.
Add vanilla to milk.
Add flour mixture and milk alternately to sugar.
