Lazy Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. stew meat
    1 1/4 c. Burgundy wine or cooking sherry
    salt and pepper
    potatoes
    8 oz. can mushrooms (stems and pieces)
    2 cans golden mushroom soup
    carrots
    onions
    4 small turnips
    celery
    herbs; sweet basil, thyme, rosemary, tarragon, dill weed, and broken bay leaves (pinches of all herbs)
Preparation
    Cook all together.
    Cover and thicken for 45 minutes.
    Bake at 275\u00b0 for 5 hours.
