Turnips(Usa) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 turnips
water to cover
1/4 c. sugar

Preparation

Peel and slice turnips.
Place turnips, sugar and water in saucepan.
Cook over medium heat until turnips are tender and begin to turn pink or red.
