Jello Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 oz. cottage cheese (small curd)
    8 oz. Cool Whip
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
    1/2 c. pecans, chopped
    1 (3 oz.) box Jell-O (I use strawberry)
Preparation
    Mix cottage cheese, Cool Whip, pineapple and nuts.
    Add Jell-O; mix well.
    Add nuts or fruit on top if desired. Refrigerate.
