Caramel Icing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. half and half
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 stick margarine
Preparation

Combine sugars and half and half; cook over medium heat at a rolling boil, stirring constantly for 6 to 7 minutes.
Remove from heat; add margarine and vanilla.
Stir until margarine melts, then set pan in ice water; stir until icing is of consistency to spread on cooled cake.
If too thick, add a few drops of milk.
