Jan Hagel (Yahn Hahgel) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg, separated
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 Tbsp. water
    1/2 c. sliced almonds
Preparation
    Lightly grease a jelly roll pan.
    Mix butter, sugar and egg yolk.
    Blend the flour and cinnamon into the butter mixture.
    Pat into the pan and beat the egg white until it's foamy.
    Brush it on and sprinkle the nuts on while the egg white is still wet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Cut while warm and remove from pan. Store in an airtight container when cooled.
