Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. strawberries, washed, hand dried and cut in slices
1 1/2 c. water
3/4 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 pkg. strawberry Jell-O
8 oz. Cool Whip
few drops red food coloring
1 cooked pie crust

Preparation

Mix water, sugar and cornstarch.
Cook 2 to 4 minutes, then add Jell-O and a few drops of red food coloring. Cool.
Add strawberries and pour into cooked pie crust.
Top with Cool Whip. For 2 pies, buy 3 pints of berries.
