German Cole Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. cabbage, shredded
2 large onions, shredded
1 c. apple cider vinegar
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. celery seed
1 Tbsp. salt
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 c. salad oil
Preparation

Layer cabbage and onions in very large bowl.
Put vinegar, sugar and spices in saucepan and bring to a boil.
Mix in salad oil and pour over contents of bowl.
Stir occasionally for several hours.
Best if made 1 to 2 days in advance.
Does not require refrigeration.
