Lemon Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    dash of salt
    dash of nutmeg
    1 c. water
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Cook over low heat until thick and clear the sugar, cornstarch, salt, nutmeg and water.
    Remove from heat.
    Add butter and lemon juice.
    Makes 1 1/3 cups sauce.
    Great as a topping on cheese cake.
