Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices bacon
    1 onion, peeled and chopped
    3 potatoes, peeled and chopped
    2 (7 oz.) cans minced clams, including juice
    water
    2 c. light cream or undiluted evaporated skim milk
    1 tsp. chopped fresh or dried parsley
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Fry bacon and cut into tiny pieces.
    Add onion to skillet and saute until golden.
    Return bacon bits to skillet with potatoes and juice from clams. Add enough water to cover potatoes and simmer, covered, until potatoes are tender.
    Add clams, cream (or milk) and parsley.
    Warm gently; do not boil. Add salt and pepper to taste. Yield: 3 servings.
