Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. Wesson oil
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. fig preserves
1 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cloves
3 eggs
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients and add oil; beat well. Add eggs, butter and milk gradually. Add figs, nuts and vanilla. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
