Tops-Lite Lasagne - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. water
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped celery
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 lb. lean ground steak
1 can (1 lb. 12 oz.) plum tomatoes
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1/4 c. minced parsley
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. dried oregano
6 lasagne noodles
1 1/2 c. dry cottage cheese
1 medium egg
4 oz. Mozzarella cheese, cut into 6 slices
1 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese

Preparation

Combine water, onion, celery and garlic in large skillet. Cook over medium heat until vegetables are tender and water has evaporated.
Add ground meat and saute slowly until brown.
Stir in tomatoes, tomato paste and seasonings.
Bring to boil.
Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
