Freezer Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. pickles, sliced 1/2-inch thick
    1 onion, sliced
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Combine sliced pickles, onion, green pepper and salt together; let stand 2 hours.
    Stir together sugar and vinegar; bring to a boil.
    Drain pickles and add vinegar syrup; let cool.
    Put in freezer containers or will keep in the refrigerator up to 1 month.
