Ingredients

1 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 c. white sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 (16 oz.) can sliced peaches, drained
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1/4 c. finely chopped nuts
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. boiling water
Preparation

Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt; beat in milk and oil until smooth.
Pour into ungreased baking pan, 8 x 8 x 2-inch or 12 x 13-inch pan.
Arrange peaches on top.
Mix brown sugar, nuts and cinnamon; sprinkle on top of peaches.
Bake until pick inserted in center comes out clean, 60 to 70 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven. Serve with whipped cream if desired.
