Rice Pilav - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 strands spaghetti or orzo
    1 c. rice
    2 c. chicken, beef or vegetable broth
    1 Tbsp. butter
    salt
    fresh parsley
    2 to 3 cloves garlic
Preparation
    In a pan, melt butter.
    Add garlic.
    When it turns yellow, add orzo (2 to 3 tablespoons) or spaghetti broken into rice-sized pieces.
    Stir over medium heat until rice is coated with butter and smells like popcorn.
    When it is turning brown (don't let it burn), add the broth which has been heated with the salt if necessary. Quickly stir once.
    Put lid on firmly and reduce heat to lowest possible and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes, until all liquid is absorbed and rice is tender.
    Remove from heat.
    Fluff with fork and add chopped parsley.
