Sweet Potato Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. light brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    1/8 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. Carnation milk
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. cooked, mashed sweet potatoes
    chopped pecans
Preparation
    Put sugar, milk, butter and salt in large boiler.
    Cook over medium heat to soft ball
    stage. Remove from heat and let cool to medium warm.
    Add sweet
    potatoes
    and beat well until it loses gloss.
    Add pecans, mix
    well
    and
    pour
    in buttered pan.
    Cut in squares when cool.
