Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 c. milk
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs and milk. In separate bowl, mix flour, salt, and baking powder; gradually add to first mixture. Add vanilla and nuts. Bake in a tube pan at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
