Ham Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. diced ham (smoked)
1 c. chopped onions
1 c. chopped celery
2 Tbsp. butter
1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. mustard
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
salt and pepper to taste
2 c. water
1 c. diced potatoes
1 pkg. frozen peas (10 oz.)
1 pkg. frozen corn (1 to 2 c. or 1 can)
2 c. whole milk, or more
1 Tbsp. chopped parsley, if desired
Preparation

Cook ham.
Add butter and cook celery and onions until tender. Add flour and water.
Add the potatoes and seasonings; cook until done.
Add the frozen peas and corn.
Cook only until done.
Add milk and heat to serve.
Serves 6 to 8.
