Mamie Eisenhower Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 1/2 c. sugar
    pinch of salt
    1 stick butter
    1 large can evaporated milk
    12 oz. chocolate pieces
    1 pt. Marshmallow Creme
    12 oz. German sweet chocolate
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Boil the first 4 items for 6 minutes.
    Put chocolate bits, German sweet chocolate, Marshmallow Creme and vanilla in a large bowl.
    Pour boiling syrup over and beat until chocolate is melted and mixture is creamy.
    Add 2 cups of nuts, if desired.
    Pour in a shallow pan and cut into squares after set.
    Makes 5 pounds.
    Do not refrigerate.
