Quilting Party Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 small pkg. strawberry gelatin
2 c. hot water
2 c. chopped bananas
1 c. chopped pecans
2 c. miniature marshmallows
1 large can crushed pineapple, drained (save juice)
1/2 c. reserved pineapple juice
3/4 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 small container whipped topping
3 Tbsp. coconut
Preparation

Dissolve gelatin in water and let partially jell.
Add next 4 ingredients and let congeal until firm.
Combine pineapple juice, sugar and flour and cook slowly until thickened, stirring constantly.
Add cream cheese.
Stir until smooth.
Spread on top of congealed mixture.
Top with a layer of whipped topping.
Add sprinkles of coconut.
