Orange Slice Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 box dates, cut up
    1 lb. orange slices, cut up
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    pinch of salt
    2 c. pecans
    1 c. coconut
    3 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Use 1 cup of the flour to flour fruit and nuts.
    Cream the butter and sugar. Add soda to buttermilk and beat well.
    Alternate flour to butter-sugar mixture.
    Beat well.
    Add eggs one at a time.
    Beat well. Add floured fruit and nuts.
    Bake 2 hours in buttered and floured tube pan at 250\u00b0.
    Let cool in pan (it falls apart if you don't let it cool in pan).
