Doug'S Stuffed Bell Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 bell peppers
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1 (15 oz.) can Hunt's Manwich Sloppy Joe sauce
    1/2 c. rice
    1 (4 oz.) bag Food Lion shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 lb. ground beef (lean)
Preparation
    Brown beef and onion; drain off excess grease.
    Add garlic and Manwich sauce.
    Mix well.
    Add rice; mix and spoon in pepper shells.
    Place peppers in small baking pan.
    Add enough water to cover bottom to keep from burning pepper bottoms.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes; add cheese if desired and return to oven to melt. Serves 6 to 8.
