Mississippi Mud - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. Oreos
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 c. sugar
    1 (12 oz.) Cool Whip
    1 large pkg. instant chocolate pudding
    2 2/3 c. milk
Preparation
    Crush cookies in blender, reserving 1/8 cup.
    Melt butter; pour over cookies.
    Mix well.
    Press onto bottom of 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Chill between layers.
    Whip together cream cheese and sugar until creamy.
    Fold in 1/2 the Cool Whip.
    Spread over crust. Prepare pudding with milk; spread over cream cheese mixture. Chill 3 to 5 minutes until firm.
    Spread remaining Cool Whip over pudding.
    Sprinkle with remaining cookie crumbs.
