Red Chili Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 to 3/4 c. red chili powder
    2 c. cold water
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. garlic salt
    oregano (optional)
Preparation
    Heat shortening in skillet on medium heat.
    Stir in flour and cook 1 minute.
    Add chili powder and cook 1 more minute. Gradually add water and stir, making sure no lumps form.
    Add seasonings to sauce and simmer on low heat 10 to 15 minutes.
