24 Hour Vegetable Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 head lettuce, shredded
    1 large purple onion, sliced
    1 large carrot, grated
    1 box frozen garden peas
    1 c. sour cream
    2 c. mayonnaise
Preparation
    Bring peas to a boil and drain.
    Mix carrots with peas.
    Layer ingredients as listed.
    Mix sour cream and mayonnaise.
    Pour over top of salad and spread out to seal well.
    Refrigerate overnight.
