Microwave Corn And Potato Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. bacon
    1 c. chopped onion
    5 c. peeled and cubed potatoes
    1/3 c. water
    1 (1 lb.) can cream-style corn
    2 1/2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cut bacon into small pieces.
    Combine bacon and onion in 3-quart casserole.
    Cook, covered, on Full powder for 10 to 15 minutes, until bacon is cooked and onion is tender.
    Stir halfway through cooking time.
    Drain.
    Add potatoes and water.
    Cook, covered, on Full power, 15 to 17 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
    Continue stirring during cooking time.
    Add remaining ingredients; cook, covered, on Full power for 5 to 8 minutes.
    Do not boil.
    Stir halfway through cooking time.
