Quick Hamburger And Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 2/3 c. instant mashed potato flakes
    1 1/2 c. sour cream (low-fat)
    1/2 c. water
    1 lb. ground beef
    3 Tbsp. chopped onion or 1 Tbsp. dried minced onion
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (12 oz.) can corn with sweet peppers (if you can find it), undrained
    1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 to 1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    1/4 tsp. basil
    1/2 c. diced American or Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    In ungreased 9 x 13-inch baking dish, blend potato flakes with sour cream and 1/2 cup water.
    Mixture should be crumbly.
    If not, add more potato flakes.
    Pat firmly into bottom of pan.
    Brown beef (with onion if using fresh); add to meat the second 1/2 cup water and remaining ingredients, except cheese.
    Spoon beef mixture over potatoes.
    Sprinkle with cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
    This recipe is easily doubled.
    Serves 6.
