Microwave Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white corn syrup
    1 c. raw peanuts with skin
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. butter or margarine
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Put sugar, corn syrup, peanuts and salt in a 1 1/2-quart microwave-safe bowl.
    Microwave on High for 8 minutes.
    Stir after 4 minutes.
    Add vanilla and butter or margarine.
    Microwave for 2 more minutes on High.
    Immediately stir in soda; stir until fluffy. Pour immediately onto a lightly greased cookie sheet.
    Cool; break into pieces.
