Refrigerator Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. sliced cukes
    1 c. onion, chopped
    1 c. green pepper (thin slices)
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Put the cucumbers, onion and green pepper into a gallon jar. Bring to boil the salt, sugar and vinegar and pour over the cucumber mixture in the gallon jar.
    Put jar (closed) in refrigerator.
    Ready to eat in 2 days.
    Keeps forever.
