Slow Cooker Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 - 2 lb. round steak, cut in strips
    1/4 c. soy sauce
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 tsp. sugar (optional)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. ground ginger
    4 tomatoes (cut in wedges) or 1 can (16 oz) tomatoes, with liquid, cut up
    2 lg. green peppers, cut in strips
    1 can beef broth may be added
Preparation
    Brown meat in oil in skillet.
    Transfer to slow cooker, along with the rest of ingredients.
    Combine 1/2 cup water, 1 Tbsp cornstarch.
    Stir into liquid in cooker.
    Cover and cook on high for 5 to 6 hours.
    Serve over noodles or rice.
    6 to 8 servings.
