Milky Way Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

8 Milky Way bars
2 sticks butter
2 c. sugar
1 c. buttermilk
4 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. pecans (if desired)

Preparation

In double boiler, melt Milky Way bars and 1 stick butter until smooth.
In bowl, beat 1 stick butter, sugar and eggs (one at a time).
Sift flour and soda and alternately add with milk and vanilla.
Add candy and pecans.
Bake for 1 hour in 300\u00b0 oven in a 13 x 9-inch pan (greased and floured).
