Kahlua - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. water
    12 c. sugar
    1 qt. Christian Brothers brandy
    3/4 c. instant Folger's coffee (Colombian)
    6 vanilla beans
Preparation
    Stir sugar and water until sugar dissolves and it boils.
    Add coffee; mix well.
    Remove from heat.
    Add brandy.
    Pour into dark bottles over vanilla beans (2 beans per decanter).
    Age at least 3 months.
    Proof doubles every 6 months.
    Makes 1 gallon.
