Ingredients

1 egg
2 Tbsp. sugar
3 jiggers milk
5 drops vanilla
Preparation

Preheat griddle (nonstick or a little oil).
Cut hole in center of bread slice with small glass or biscuit cutter.
Beat one egg and mix in sugar, milk and vanilla.
Dip bread into egg mixture and place on hot griddle.
After 1 minute, place an egg (minus shell) into hole in bread.
Turn over when bottom of egg turns white.
